Coverage and finish are different

Coverage describes how much shows through. Finish describes the surface appearance. A radiant finish is not necessarily sheer, and a matte finish is not necessarily full coverage.

Try selective application

The NARS coverage guide suggests applying foundation where needed and blending outward for a natural transition. Build gradually instead of starting with a thick layer.
